Groundwork East London has been working in the borough of Waltham Forest for three years. Excellent working relationships have been developed through extensive partnership working with various organisations enabling the delivery of various projects including large scale landscape improvements in parks and community engagement work relating to enhancing the natural environment and the future regeneration of disadvantaged neighbourhoods.
We also Chair the Epping Forest and River Roding Area 2 sub group which forms part of the East London Green Grid (ELGG) programme led by the GLA. Key future projects will be supporting major strategic open space projects such as Wanstead Flats and Epping Forest, as well as access improvements to the River Roding.
Our Employment Team also has an office in Waltham Forest from which they deliver job brokerage services and an accredited training course to lone parents.
